Frequently Asked Questions.
1. What type of therapy do you offer?
I provide online individual therapy sessions tailored to your unique needs. My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, trauma, racial identity, and relationship challenges.
2. Do you offer in-person sessions?
No, my practice is fully virtual. I offer convenient, secure teletherapy sessions that allow you to access therapy from the comfort of your own home. All sessions are conducted via a HIPAA-compliant video platform to ensure your privacy and confidentiality.
3. Do you accept insurance?
I do not directly accept insurance at this time. However, I can provide you with a superbill—an itemized receipt that you can submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. Please check with your insurance company to confirm if they cover out-of-network therapy services.
4. What are your fees?
My fee is $200 per 50 minute session. Payment is due at the time of service. I accept credit cards and Zelle.
5. How long is each session?
Sessions are typically 50 minutes long.
6. Is online therapy effective?
Yes, online therapy can be just as effective as in-person therapy. Many clients find the convenience of virtual therapy helpful, especially when balancing busy schedules, family obligations, or travel. Teletherapy allows you to access quality care from wherever you are, and I ensure that our virtual sessions provide the same level of support and confidentiality as in-person sessions.
7. How do I get started?
To schedule a free 15 minute phone consultation, simply fill out the contact us form. We’ll set up an initial consultation to discuss your needs and how we can work together. I look forward to supporting you on your journey to wellness.
8. What should I expect from my first session?
During our first session, we will spend time getting to know each other, discussing your concerns, and setting goals for therapy. I will ask about your background, current challenges, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. This is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the process.
